We believe in a fashion that doesn’t conform, but celebrates every woman’s uniqueness through color, art, and freedom of expression.
BORNTOBEDIFFERENT was born from the desire of its founder, Giulia Zuppardo, to shout out, through the medium of fashion, the message:
"We are all born to be different!" "We are all born to be wonderfully unique!"
Thus was born the idea of turning the very message "We are all born to be different" into a brand, thus giving life to a "speaking" brand, a "manifesto" brand, a brand that is a cry of rebellion against standardization at all costs and that shouts: "Let's make our differences our wealth, our precious uniqueness, let's make our differences the colors of our blank canvas, because we are all born to be different colors of the same blank canvas, we are all born to be wonderfully different, and this is the true beauty of our humanity."
Thus, clothes in deliberately bold colors take shape, in complete antithesis to the idea of standardization that inevitably brings with it the disappearance of the individual, their identity, their thoughts.
Colorful clothes, therefore, as a means of loudly saying: I am here, I have no intention of disappearing, of blending in, I want to be myself, I don't want to be similar, or even worse, the same as anyone else, I don't want to hide behind a beige or gray suit, and I don't want to do it because I have something to say, something that, perhaps, you might not like, but that I will say anyway.
Today, the collection has been enriched with a line of genderless shirts, which are veritable manifestos. A veritable manifesto is hand-painted on the back. A phrase through which to shout out something urgent, something that needs to be said. A phrase that is so powerful for us that we wanted to "tattoo" it on a shirt to be worn every day.
The mission of BORNTOBEDIFFERENT is, therefore, to fight against any bizarre ideology that obscures, with brushstrokes of faded gray, the astonishing differences, the bold colors that give life to the complex work of art that is humanity.
Yes, because differences are light, they are color, and we all, with our precious differences, are color, we are all "borntobedifferent," and that's beautiful!
